Q1: Does the Euro Cuisine Yogurt Maker come with any jars or do you have to buy them separately?

A: Yes, the Euro Cuisine Yogurt Maker comes with 7 six ounce jars as shown, and you can purchase replacement jars if you choose.

Q2: Does yougurt maker include yougurt starter if so how much?

A: The Euro Cuisine Yogurt Maker does not come with starter, but it does come with instructions on how to make yogurt. A Euro Cuisine customer service person responded to a similar question this way: No It doesn't need to preheat the milk, it should be room temparture. If you do boil the milk then you have to let it cool to the room temperature before putting in the indiviudal jars. Basically you need 42 oz of milk that is 7 jars x 6 oz each plus yogurt culture or about 6oz of plain yogurt. You mix the milk with yogurt and and poor it into the glass jar and plug in the unit and about 10 hours or so you will have your natural yogurt. The unit comes with instruction and receipe.

Q3: Can I make 1/2 a batch, and only fill 4 jars? If so, do I put the other 3 jars (empty) in the machine, or leave them out? Thanks!

A: According to Euro Cuisine you certainly can make yogurt in only a few of the jars, and it is entirely up to you whether or not you want to put the empty jars in the machine or not.

Q4: where can you buy active yougart, and what is it called if I was to ask someone. I live in Arizona if that helps.

A: You should be able to acquire yogurt starter through any health store, or you can use about 5 tablespoons of plain yogurt to your glass jar.

Q5: I purchased the euro yogurt maker some time back and have lost the instructions to make the yogurt. I have the packets of active yogurt and tried to make it without the instructions but it did not turn out right. Is there anyway that I can get instructions emailed to me.

A: You should be able to obtain replacement instructions directly from the company, EuroCuisine, Inc., in Montebello, CA. Here's their toll-free number: 888-343-5554.
