Q1: Is the iron made out of cast iron or aluminum? What is the diameter?
A: The Nordic Ware Krumkake iron is made of cast aluminum and the cookie plates measure 5 inches in diameter.
Q2: Where is this iron made? I recived one that was made in China and is sucks. I am having a hard time finding one like my Mom has.
A: The iron is made in Minneapolis, MN. We're not sure whether the craftspersons are Norwegian or Swedish, but there are plenty of Scandinavians around those parts.
Q3: Can I purchase an extra wooden cone with my order of one iron
A: Unfortunately we are not able to sell just the wooden cones separately, but you might try contacting Bethany Houseware's directly. Bethany may be willing to sell you a "replacement" cone. Bethany Houseware's can be reached at: 563-547-5873.
