Q1: What do you use a splatter for? Can you use it to cook tortillas
A: The most common use for the splatter screen is to put over the top of a skillet or stockpot to keep the contents from leaping out while you are cooking. This handy little device is supposed to make kitchen clean-ups a breeze-if not a thing of the past. I have not ever tried to use a splatter screen to fry tortillas, but if you can logistically make it work, it will not hurt the screen.
Q2: you have the screen what kind of warranty do I get with it? ALSO do you carry or know who carries a 13 inch lid for a teflon skillet, prefer glass
A: Lodge's warranty on all of their products is based on the passage of reasonable amount of time, as deemed by a Lodge representative. Lodge will replace an item if they feel the item is defective. Lids are tricky items. The are very finicky when it comes to a nice fit. My best advice would be to contact the pan's manufacturer directly.
Q3: Can the 13 inch splatter screen be usedin the oven? Thanks
A: The splatter screen is made of stainless steel, so it should do just fine in the oven. Be extremely careful, however, as the screen will get very hot as it takes on the heat from the oven. You will want to use oven mitts to remove the screen from the oven and the top of your pan.
