Q1: How do you clean the circulon pots
A: If you are trying to clean non-stick cookware here is what Circulon recommends: To clean your Circulon non-stick hi-low grooves use warm soapy water and a soft nylon brush, rinse and dry. Pans must be cleaned each time they are used to prevent food buildup in the grooves. If your non-stick hi-low grooves no longer release food easily, you may have a build-up of food or grease in the grooves. To restore your non-stick performance mix three parts water to one part white vinegar and boil in your pan on medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Let stand until cool and wash with warm soapy water and a soft nylon brush, rinse and dry. Hard-anodized Circulon cookware is not safe to put in the dishwasher. Do not use oven cleaners, steel wool, harsh detergents or cleansers with chlorine bleach. Never use metal utensils on your non-stick hi-low grooves. We recommend using Circulon Kitchen Accessories and Tools, like our Circulon Scrub Brush made specifically for cleaning the non-stick hi-low grooves of your Circulon Cookware
Q2: I am looking for a 1 or 1.5 qt pan. Is there one available like this? If not, is there one close to this particular pan? Thank you
A: That particular Circulon line does not have a pan that is less than the 2 quart you found. However, Circulon does have a 1.5 quart in its Elite line, and Anolon has two lines that offer a 1.5 quart as well. Anolon and Circulon are both manufactured by the same company, Meyer, so that are very similar in quality. Q3: What is the best product to clean the outside of my Circulon pots?
A: I contacted Circulon's product specialist's line; they suggested you use a baking soda and water paste if you have the hard anodized non-stick Circulon pans. You would use this on the bottom and sides of the pan. Let the mixture set for 30 minutes and wipe off with a nylon pad. This will diminish or fade the discoloration, but it probably will not remove it altogether. They stated that stains on this type of cookware are usually there to stay. If you have stainless steel Circulon pans, then they suggest you use Bon Ami or Bar Keeper's Friend. These are stainless steel cleaners that can be found in your local Wal-Mart or Target stores.
