Q2: What is Anolon ? Plastic, silicone, metal or what ? According to the reply (above) the center tube and bottom release from the pan to remove the cake, right ? Thanks --David Lehr

A: The Anolon bakeware line is non-stick aluminum construction. Unfortunately, this pan does not have a center tube release. The pan is one unit. If you want an angel food cake pan that does separate into two pieces, I would recommend the NordicWare Natural Commerical line. It is aluminum as well, but it does not have the non-stick properties.
